BACHELOR OF SOCIAL WORK [BSW]: Three year programme (Semester Pattern)

Candidates who have passed Certificate Course in Social Work[CSW], Higher Secondary School Certificate examination (HSSC) Pre –University/Pre –degree of equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University are eligible for Admission in BSW course.

MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK [MSW]: Two Year Programme (Semester Pattern)

Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree examination in the subject of Social Work, Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Pharmacy, Architecture, Home Science, Law etc. from RTM Nagpur University or from any other statutory University recognized by RTM Nagpur University are eligible for admission in MSW Course.

Higher Place for Learning and Research (PhD research center for Social Work):

The college has the facility for higher place for Learning and Research (PhD research center for Social Work). It is affiliated to RTMNU, Nagpur. The students interested in pursuing PhD in Social Work can contact the college for the same. The eligibility criteria for Ph.D as prescribed by UGC and RTMNU, Nagpur is NET/SET in Social Work or passing Phd Entrance Test (PET)

Counseling Course:

The counseling course is a short term course conducted by department of Lifelong Learning and and Extension, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. The Theory component of the course is spread over the period of 60hrs, which is spread over 20 days. The classes are conducted on Saturdays during the span of five months. The student graduating from any stream is eligible for seeking admission in the course.

BRIDGE/Bosch (Short Term Course):

Bosch response to India’s Development and Growth through Employability Enhancement is a three month’s short term course for students in the age group of 18 to 25 years. These course is especially useful for 10th and 12th class students dropout. The course provides job placement assistance after the successful completion. The students can enroll in the course by contacting the college staff.

Study Center of Y.C.M.O.U

The college offer s B.A., B.Com course of Yashwantrao Chavhan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik for those students who have not completed their education due to social -economic condition. The Non Matriculate person is eligible to attend the pre-examination. After passing the pre-examination admission for B.A., B.Com is offered.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

BACHELOR’S DEGREE[ BSW-I]

The admission procedure is made public through advertisement in regional and national newspaper, website, local TV channels, distribution of pamphlets etc. the admission procedure is executed by following the guidelines prescribed by RTMNU, Nagpur.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW

The eligible candidate shall be called for Personal Interview before a selection committee on specified date and time.
The purpose is to know the personality of candidate and his/her interest and aptitude for Social Work. The candidate shall produce all documents in original before the interview board for verification and should produce the same at the time of admission.

MASTER DEGREE [MSW-I] Semester Pattern

The candidate who is graduate from any of the discipline from an affiliated/ University can apply for the Master of Social Work. The interested students should fill the centralized preference form available on the RTMNU, Nagpur website. The college are allotted to the students, as per the merit and preference, by the university.

SOCIAL WORK PRACTICUM
The Social Work Practicum constitutes the following components. Students at all level have to put in specified number of hours of fieldwork. (Social Work Practicum) as well as the follow guidelines as prescribed by the University. The field work at the college level is arranged on two days in a week. The objective of field work is to provide the students with practical experience and develop the necessary skills and aptitude related to Social Work.
